There are 2 kinds of "Multimedia resources": video (.wmv or flash) and MP3's. Saving Grace Productions will prepare Multimedia resources and associate them with weekly sermons via the SMS using this procedure: 1. Log to www.cor.org/TYPO3 with your username and password 2. Select List view 3. storage for SMS Resources is located in the site page tree at: Worship/Sermons; Sermons Archive; SMS Storage Folder. Each year has its own folder: i.e., "SMS 2007" The List View is divided into 3 sections: * (top section) SMS Resources * (mid section) SMS Sermons * (bottom section) SMS Series (sermons related to each other) In essence, you'll create a Sermon Resource, and then associate that resource with a Sermon. (Someone else has created the Sermon Record.) Next, Saving Grace creates the 2 Resources (MP3 & Flash) for each week: MP3 Resource: 1. select the Green Plus next to SMS Resources 2. Select the Type of Resource (Drop Down Box) - in this case, MP3 Audio: 3. TYPO3 will ask you before it present a select group of fields; say "OK" 4. Fill in the Title - in the following format: "Sermon MP3 Audio 4-27-2007" 5. Click the "World/Glasses" icon to find the MP3 on the drive (located in fileadmin/sermons) 6. Select it. 7. Save. Flash resource: 1. select the Green Plus next to SMS Resources 2. Select the Type of Resource (Drop Down Box) - in this case, Flash Sermon Video: 3. TYPO3 will ask you before it present a select group of fields; say "OK" 4. Fill in the Title - in the following format: "Sermon Video 4-27-2007" 5. Click the "World/Glasses" icon to find the Flash video on the drive (located in fileadmin/sermons) 6. Select it. 7. Save. Next, find the Sermon and associate the MP3 and Flash Resources with that week's sermon. 1. select a SMS Sermon 2. select the Envelope Icon to tell TYPO3 to browse to the MP3 resource 3. it's in fileadmin/sermons. Specify the file. 4. select the Envelope Icon again; browse to the Flash resource 5. it's in fileadmin/sermons. Specify the file. 6. Save. The MP3 Sermon Audio and Flash sermon video are now a part of the SMS and associated with that week's sermon. Congrats! You're done!!
